Rory Blincow Yates
Rory Blincow is a student at The University of Winchester studying Vocal and Choral studies. He has been working with Foot in the Door theatre since the Summer of 2014 after being cast as Ferdinand in their production of The Tempest.
Rory's strengths lie within Musical Theatre as, pre-dominantly, a singer and actor. His most recent role being Clifford Bradshaw in Cabaret and currently in the rehearsal process for Musical Theatre South's production of American Idiot for May 2015. Having dabbled in writing and directing, and though they were exciting endeavours, he can safely say that he works most comfortably on stage, or in this case, infront of the camera.
Rory is incredibly excited for his contribution for this adaptation of Mansfield Park having read the book and many others of Jane Austen. He has revelled in portraying who he sees as the most extravagant man in existence and wishes he could be anywhere near as eccentric in day to day life. Outside of Mansfield and University, Rory enjoys many sports and activities, from golf to table tennis. His interests include: socialising, eating, Doctor Who, Marvel and games of all varieties.
